hey doc!

frustration is a generalized term applicable for everyone from medical students to interns and pg students.

dont worry mate, things will work your way. i too was thinking on the lines same as you. work with WHO or something but apparently from your anecdote this are not as rosy as they seem to be. i learnt a lesson today because of you. and i appreciate and admire you for your courage to come up with this topic.

dont lose hope. there are a lot of health care organisations worldwide that you can get into or as someone suggested you could start your own NGO. if you are still in the game of giving another exam why dont u give a foreign exam and do a masters or a Phd abroad and settle there. the choice is yours mate... the possibilities are endless...

Cheers and all the best !!!

why didnt you try MBA or Masters in hospital administration?
just lamenting over something which is irreversible is definitely not going to do any good .
decide what you want- if you are interested in a teaching job-try for it.
if you want to go to the administrative side start preparing for it.
if you want to do another PG couse start reading- as far as i know there are no speciality which guarantees you a 'frustration free' life .
goodluck.
