I think a formal structured interview is always better because it is unambiguous and covers the essential points. The objective is not know about the whole personality of the doctor but the mode and depth of preparation.
Question can be like this
When you started preparation?
What EXAMS you prepared for?
For AIPGE what books /mcq/study material you used?
For AIIMS do.
DO NOT FORGET TO PUT SEPARATE EMPHASIS ON AIPGE AND AIIMS otherwise there will be confusion.
AIIMS is generally an add on prep , but even then the strategy for each should be sharply demarcated.
Which subjects were the highest scoring for you. This question can surreptitiously tell us whether his choices and strategies have been successful for that particular subject

Anyway congragulations to both Dr Goenka and Dr Soral for this herculean feat. Ap logon ka sitarey aise hi chamakte rahey or aap log agey bahut tarakki karen . Medical Science thrives on such people who did not shy from hard work tempered with the right strategy and the LIONHEART to take on the unknown

i do not think that interview was disappointing, we can say it was formal but then it depends on d relation between d person and interviewer u can take an informal interview very nicely only when u r connected that fellow informally.
dr rachana has done a good job it was dr aditya who was not very open in d interview probably becoz he has given tips already in his thread so he must hv thought what is d use of repeating all those things.
but we shd appreciate d honesty and modesty of dr aditya , he was very frank and truthful in d interview.
3 cheers for d rxpg team for their excellent effort and d pains they took for it.
