hello bud,
I have checked into books. They say the shot of succinyl choline is painful as it firstly induces fasciculations and spasm of muscles and then causes relaxation and thus myalgia.
Where as curare doesn't cause any spasms and induces flaccidity.It was used in arrow poisoning.So, i was wrong.

For references you can pick any book on pharma.Its given under the title of "muscle relaxants".
