hi,

i am a junior doctor trained in britain and i am working as part of the foundation programme in britain. my husband lives in bangladesh and my plan was to move to bangladesh to work once i had finished my FY2 year. however, i am thinking of possibly moving after this first year. can anyone give me any advice as to whether i would be able to get a job in bangladesh as a doctor after one year of training???

Well , job availability is surely better than britain considering the current situations here but even if you finish fy2 you'll have to start in BD as a medical officer and wages will be quite low ...best to finish MRCP or MS/Md here and join there as a consultant.... that's only what i can think of

cheers

For getting into specialisation the most preferred Degree of Bangladesh is FCPS - consist of 2 parts , there's also MS/MD courses for different fields ..unfortunately it was controlled politically which i hope will be changing soon....

Best thing to do is get a degree from here which will be much valued in BD
