I was pleasantly surprised when I read an Article abt "The $2500 Car..." here in the Bay area...

TATA's Nano had the power & the substance in it to make it to the 2nd Front Page in one of the widely read Newspapers in the area...

Great Work Tata... smiley24.gif

I am Proud to be an INDIAN.

thanks jedai....i'll continue to give Ratan Tata ...such kind of innovative

Read in a local newspaper that autodrivers in bangalore are all set to change to nano from autos, as its cheaper than auto and that most people nowdays prefer taxis instead of auto due to status problem.
Looks like nano ll make a big revolution apart from the middle class families

Global warming main contributors are the developed countries. India make only a small percentage of it.
But ya this nano might add significantly to the pollution.
Tata has said the emission is not greater than two wheeler.
We ll wait and see what happens. Damage is already done.

though all Indians wishes and would buy this nano car they i think wont use it like the developed countries do due to fact that our traffic is really messy in morning times where we really need them . so still our public will still use the public means of transport such as metro and bus due to this high traffic . and sure India is not the real polluter though we too need to control them .

Indian brand need to make waves and it does . icon_smile.gif icon_smile.gif icon_smile.gif

well its a engineering and marketing winner all the way but guys please have a thought for our already congested roads of india....
effectivly we are putting a car in hands of almost a million more population when we cant even sustain the present condition. When there have been talks of restricting the number of cars on the road here comes a car that fulfills the dreams of many but at what cost???? already north india is facing the coldest winter ever...central india had the hottest summer ever in 2007...the weather is changing guys right in front of our eyes....it will be better to rise and awake now..
