Pls does anyone one know if gmc is really strict on the letter of good standing or it is valid for 3 months and nothing more.

They are pretty strict about it......my cgs expired by only one week and they told me to get a new one and i had to get it...luckily it takes only one day to get it back in chennai, india

nigerdoc, when did u apply for full reg and when will your cgs expire?...
But if the delay in getting full reg is from GMC will they still demand a new cgs from one???
They got my cgs 8 January but it was issued 28 december from Nigeria. I have applied for full reg and even paid. Is it possible that my cgs might expire before am given full registration?

Nopes Nopes...definitely not Drstanilo.....it doesnt work that way.....they received it before it expired so u are quite safe really....and u just need to be waiting for your reg certificate now..........

Naija doc.....they are strict i tell u...like abepfdr said...they are really strict about that.......but u cud try and let them tell u what u shud be doing...like i say somethings we never know when this rules sometimes bend......

whats the usual vaidity period of certificate of good standing....i mean once issued in how much time duration it expires ??

James 1..The cgs is only valid for 3 months from the date written on the certificate. GMC is very strict on this matter. Cheers
