IS the manipulation based on regionality or is it based on payment of money ??
Since its an autonomous institute whc conducts & evaluates its OWN entrance exam , it can be possibl , rite ???

This is idiotic talk. There is no manipulation in favour of domiciled/bengali.More than half gen seat is occupied by south students. Yes there is manipulation, but in favour of those who allready done diploma from 1.Cip 2.Any other place. Always topper r diploma holder of cip. May be they get some insight there or ?Have an edge as more q from Psychiatry
,neuro?

yup dashing u r spot on, i managed the first rank last yr, and i am a south indian..........the exam were conducted and evaluated very fairly.........
there is a inherent advantage in the entrance for their diploma candidates because of some stress on Psychiatry
and neuro which they read during diploma course..........
but i know for sure that they are sufficiently weak in other subjects from which u can take lead with.........the interview too is a eye wash, no big deal.......they generally give to all based on ranks, the only bias there is they replace th seats of candidates who leave in between with their own candidates invariably, irrespective of rank list.....so if u r non cip candidate and are in waiting list 1, u will not get the md seat even if all 6 candidates of initial allotment leave the seat......so try and aim to top 4 seats there
