U know urself more than anyone does ,so its u who has to take the decision and do accordingly . All of us know about the various methods ,means ,trics .etc to study also seniors ,professors n Rxpg wud b of help in deciding how to do it . But the Big decision rests on ue decision how u want to prepare
coz therez a huge difference between the previous thery exams n the mcq's . this ius test of the entire 4 1/2 yrs of studies in ayear which my any means is not easy (and iim people boast that they hav the toughest to deal with look at us then they will b put to shame)

I think studying from too many books will confuse rather than anythinhg else so i think select wisely the study material ,give mock tests ,do the previous papers ,retro studying is a gud option
C ya tk care
.Regarding the studies there are different ways in which ppl study ,its upto u which one u find fieasable and more rewarding n convenient too .
for me i think classes r a big waste i think test series are ok there is no substitue for self study n u remember more by this method rather than spoon feeding

hi aim a fresher- aiming fro aipg 2006.here's wat i have gathered from the pgts here -and thats wat i have been following.

if you have one year to study-its best if you can maintain 12 hrs study evry day.very minimum ten- and my seniors here tend ot believe that how much you did in ur ug years-does ot count. its a whoel new exam -and a whoel new praparation.

and basically if you are donig 12 hours a day- divide it into two 5 hr halves- and study different subjects in each of those two halves.
and the remaining two hours -just go for mcqs.keep one day evry week for revising the stuff u studied for the rest of the week.dont do any thing new on that day-preferably a sunday.

and try to make a routine covering all the subjects a year ago.keeping last one and a half month for revision

nice advice

im in mini prof but i think i can motivate u fr my experience,i was a good student in class 10,i scored 77%,later wen i went to 11class,i failed in my terminals,i was depressed,i started thnking myself a total failure,my family at that time ws also not supprting me ,because my frends father and people like them used to ask my parents that how is ur son doing and all that rubish,...but from 12 class i studied sincerely and got selected in frst attempt,IT GIVES U MOR HAPPINESS THAN ANYTHING ELSE WEN U PROVE SOM THING WHICH OTHERS THINK THAT U CANT,keep postive people around u,& MOST IMPORTANT dont feel below average because,THE WAY U THINK THE WAY U BECOME...BST OF LUK
