Not really. The old pic of the tree i posted was taken in December in Afternoon. Since the sun is directly above the camera, all objects in the frame will look more dark. The New pic i posted was taken in the Rainy Season some where in June. Coz of that the trees are more green. And the timing of the photo was in the evening. So the sunlight from the west is enhancing the colours in the photo.

The place is almost like any other cool hill station. Only difference is that the development and tourism haven't urbanized this place yet. So one can calmly sit in the hilltop without being disturbed by vendors or vehicle horns. Nature at its best.
