icon_redface.gif your joking ?? you've been waiting 2 1/2 years ??

maximum 3 months !!

have you both been living togther outside the uk for the 4 years ??

if so
If you have been together for four years or more outside the UK and you have passed the Life in the UK test, you are eligible for indefinite leave to remain (permanent residence) in the UK without having to live in the UK for two years

my wife was told that her visa app was being processed and after 3 months, i had enough and emailed every manager on the embassy's website telling them how long i had been waiting and the problems i had with the embassy, within a day my wife got her visa..

i'm sure there is a time lmiit by which they have to tell you, i'd speak to the mamger .

good luck
