Ok let me start with E book readers.
Common formats and readers:-
PDB :: best viewed by Isilo… but I will try posting free reader
CHM :: CHM reader.net- free
PDF :: Adobe- free
LIT :: Microsoft Reader
Microsoft Reader . It used to be integrated in pocket pc ROM but not since windows mobile 2000SE release.
As usual one of the stupid products from MS (it reminds me windows ME)… anyway, if you have e-books in LIT format you don’t have much choice (there is, which we can discuss later) whether you like Microsoft or not and I call that is the beauty of Microsoft marketing …
Download it directly from MS.

PDF readers:-
1) Adobe Reader for Pocket PC 2.0 is an official reader for this format.
From Adobe web site:
Adobe Reader for Pocket PC 2.0 delivers powerful new features:
* Mobile data entry: Submit form data using handheld devices over a wireless connection. If you are working
offline, the data is temporarily stored, then submitted once a connection is established. Send forms by e-mail or
directly to the destination server using a cradle or cable.
* Wireless printing: Print directly from a handheld device to a remote printer.
* Slide show viewing: Easily share Adobe PDF slide shows generated by Adobe Photoshop Album software on
handheld devices in portrait or landscape mode.
This is free and can be downloaded from below link.

Now I am posting one of the wonderful freeware…. It is CHM reader . The best is “ABC amber CHM reader”
which is expensive. But, CHM reader.net is free and as good as Amber.
I have found this program accidentally. Was looking for free program for more than 2 years and found it only few weeks ago.
I am 110% satisfied with it… there is an other freeware which is “CHM reader” but, it is not that good , there are so many bugs in it..
Download it from below link
