hi im am an mbbs doc from india.planning for an immigration to Canada .plan to give USMLE step 1 n 2 there n apply for visa to us?is this possible?can i get a visa easily or r there any problems in that?

or should i just write my steps from india n apply for a vistor visa n go?which one is better?

A canadian PRship does facilitate USA visa lil bit , but still they look for valid grounds , and if you didnt appear in MCCEE , some times that raises concerns and apart from that if after coming to Canada the first thing you do is ask for USA visa , that may not help.USA embassy does ask for your personal references in application , so if you can provide you references of long standing citizens those who are in good jobs or records that makes things alot easier , but these are facilitatory aspects, few get visas despite of all like being new.If you are working in Canada for some time even if it is a year , have a job, have good standing , that wud keep their antennae off.After becoming a canadian citizen you are free to work in USA like US PR /citizen itself.

i have heard that every city in Canada has a separate system of exams and we have to apply a fresh in diff cities.
is it true?
