Quick Scroll UK Work Visa - do I need to go back to home country?? 04.26.07 (1 year ago) #1

Hi,

I am in the UK working on na Working Holiday Visa.

My company have applied for a work visa for me, which has been approved.

They are now saying that I have to go back to Australia and finish the application (send passport to British High Commission etc) rather say just heading over to EUrope and reentering the UK.

Does anyone know about this?

France will be a lot quicker and cheaper than Australia (even non Eu country like Switzerland)

Any help will be appreciated

Thanks

Hi, unfortunatly i cant answer your question. As your post is quite old, im assuming you've been through the process already? Im hopeing you can help me out. Im in the same situation where i am on a working holiday visa at the moment and my employer wishes to apply for a work permit for me. How did the process work for you? Do you know how much the fee was? How long did it take? Any information you can tell me would be a huge help! Thanks
