PRIMARY CARDIAC MALIGNANCIES
The vast majority of tumors involving the heart and pericardium are metastatic. In addition, most primary cardiac tumors are benign myxomas, 75% to 80% of which arise from the left atrium. Other benign primary cardiac neoplasms include rhabdomyoma, fibroma, lipoma, hemangioma, teratoma, and fibroelastoma. Primary malignant cardiac tumors make up one-fourth of all primary cardiac neoplasms and most commonly originate from the atria. Most are some variant of sarcomas, including angiosarcoma, rhabdomyosarcoma, leiomyosarcoma, fibrosarcoma, lymphoma, malignant fibrous histiocytoma, and mesothelioma of the pericardium.Pheochromocytomas also occur as primary cardiac neoplasms.

Hai everyone,
It is atrial myxoma....often an incidental finding, seen commonly in chest x=rays first as widening of right border of the heart and incidentally seen in echo...investigating for Paroxysmal AF.
Metastaic.... impossible...blood (in the heart and vessels) is fluid connective tissue..tumour cells are large and tend to deposit in high flow resistance organs like..LLB (lung liver brain)
In turbulence parts of the heart like valves only vegetations can form and grow only to certain extent..later get dislodged to form emboli.
Cheers.
Cheers
