I AM A FMG FROM UKRAINE.
I HEARD THAT EVEN IF WE PASS THE USMLE ...IT IS DIFFICULT FOR US TO GO TO USA BECOZ WE DONOT GET THE VISA EASILY.
SO I WANT TO GO TO THE USA FIRST AND THEN FROM THERE ATTEMPT THE USMLE .....OR ATLEAST ATTEMPT THE USMLE FROM INDIA BUT WANT TO GO TO USA NOT ON USMLE BUT ON SOME OTHER REASON.
SO PLEASE HELP ME OUT.....
I HEARD THE MPH PROGRAMME IS GOOD WAY TO GO TO USA BUT IT IS LONG AND HARD.....
SO HOW CAN WE GO TO USA.......
I AM READY TO APPLY FOR COURSES IN USA AND THEN GET I -20 INVITATION FROM UNIVERSITIES.
SO PLEASE HELP ME OUT GUYS....

If you want to go to USA without giving the USMLE then GRE is the best option for you. U get your scores and apply to the US universities even with full funding with a stipend if your scores are good. Also you can get a five year visa if you get addmission for Ph.D. directly. BUt you have to have a high score to get a direct Ph.D. admission.I know many doctors go to USA after giveing GRE as it is comparatively easy to get a visa after having a good score and meanwhile in the US doing their MS opt for the USMLE .

hello there..wat is a good score of GRE , 2 get a full funding for MPH?

1. Please dont use CAPS LOCK in the forum, its considered rude.
2. Its relatively easier to get a Visa via USMLE nowadays.
3. Getting admission into MPH is a 1 year - 6 months long process.
4. Going the GRE - MPH way is very expensive.
Plus if the MPH is in a good university, the coursework will be hard and you need to work twice as hard.
THat would be a little disconcerting if you want to give the USMLE there.
5. Financial aid and scholarships are generally not available for IMG.
6. There are other fields other than MPH to choose from.
7. The deadlines have passed for applying to MPH courses now, you will have to apply next year.
8. GRE scores are only a screening process. LORS, SOP< general GPA, TOEFL scores, volunteer, job or research experience is all taken in account when admissions are decided. So not only GRE scores, but everything else should be attractive as well.
