nowadays the media is much concern about politics going on behind the selection of indian cricket team.....good work media...cheers for media....
...many of our cricketers lost their carreer because of such politics in cricket....like robin singh,vinod kambli,murli kartik....too is beneath the scanner now....i could never understand the criteria of choosing indian team....you all know about it well.... say the case of ganguly,dravid...e.t.c....
my question is what could be done to curb out such bad politics in cricket????
my opinion....."there must be genuine election for cricket comitte by voting of people of india" what sya?????

if it is so...india is not far behind winning the second world cup....

ya due to politics, v hav lost many gud players... who cuda been match winners , given a chance.......

same thing was happening with sourav ....
but he was lucky n strong to cum outta it........

my sugestion wud b....

remove all politicians 4m commitee....
they r the 1s who started dirty politics in sports like cricket wen it started having lotsa money in it

then dnt appoint any coach....
our team plays very well without the coach

dont let players become actors.......
they need to choose 1 thing.... sports or acting at a time......

selection shud b done by the players who r xpected to b in team.....
, provided they r allowed to vote only 1ce 4 1 player....... they shud select team......... (this may not b aproved by all ) (controversial point 4m me )

I would like to state here that a
Captain is only as good as his team..

Even a brilliant captain cannot win a match for his team if not backed by good bowling & batting & not to forget the fielding.

I wouldnt consider M.S. Dhoni to be an Extraordinary Captain......
He is just a normal guy who is doin pretty well....
One of his drawbacks is to put the blame squarely on the bowlers or the batsmen just like he did a few matches before the finals....

Brilliant Captains for that matter were Late Hansie cronje , Stephen Fleming or Arjuna Ranatunga.....
If you go to the olden/ golden days it would be a Mike Brearly...

These were tactically brilliant people who could change the course of the game with their sheer imagination/understanding of the game....

Even Ricky Ponting for that matter is not that good a captain.....
The fact of matter is that the Aussie team is "Auto-driven" & can function without a coach/captain or for that matter any other person... till an inspired team challenges it!!!!

So team India's captaincy.... crown of thorns...
It all depends on the perspective!!!!

If you're gettin the oppurtunity to make millions just after one single victory...... then you should even be ready to take the criticism/watever...which comes along wt it.....

For that matter MS dhoni has been pretty lucky to have a very good team which has been performing exceedingly well.....
If the captain can accept "the trophy" on behalf of the team...... then he should also accept "the defeat" gracefully.......

Maahi has gotta long way to go......
