Dear members

i fully agree that asia pacific has an altogrther different mode of did\stribution and presentatoin og\f ca esophagus and also rightly clarified bt RxPG team.

The issue STILL remains : We have all textbooks from western authors which are used and quoted by paper setting and checking team.

We study and prepare from these books in Pre PG exams

So while answerein it seems logical to mark Lower 3rd as answer ( Ref : original wuestion asked)

OF course all patients require individualised management and no book can be a substitute for common sense

PLease discuss further

Thx

Hiii,

I would stick to the option :- Middle 1/3 rd .

That seems to be the consensus in the various MCQ books & Tests held by the PGMEE coachings.

1 distressing trend :-

I have been giving a few practise tests held by the PGMEE coaching on Sundays. 1 thing I noticed is that if they have given a question straight from Salgunan , they will stick to the answer printed in it while evaluating the Test sheets.
EVEN IF THE ANSWER in Salgu. is printed WRONG .
I am purposefully not naming them ,else it would invite a backlash against me in this forum also icon_smile.gif .

Makes me wonder, would the situation be like this IF any such question gets repeated from Salgu. in the AIPGE or any other PG entrance ? The evaluation would be done on basis of the wrong answer printed in Salgu .

What d'ya think, fellow aspirants ?
