hello there,

I am a newly graduated doctor from yemen and i am now in a PG programm in jordan.I am suffering from the the low standerd of scintefic traning.

I am planing for doing the PLAB 1 soon and go to UK for training,i am able to talk the challange, but the problem as you all know is WHAT IS AFTER THE PLAB ???? icon_twisted.gif and i know it is not easy to get it

i want the advice from you because you are in the situation and you can have a good vision

I am tempted to say that you should go ahead and write the PLAB , provided you have enough money to survive on, while preparing your mind that it may take up to a year to get a training post.
If you can come in with a student visa, it may help a lot as you may be able to do some part-time work before and after PLAB while you wait for a post.
Let it be very very clear to you that lt could be very difficult here. If you are armed with that, then you propably will do well.
Have a hard think. It is difficult, but not impossible. Training here will be great if you succeed to break into a specialty.
