Windows XP Service Pack 2 is indeed more productive and light when compared to OSX / Vista.
But a PC of that calibre needs an OS which is 'different' icon_smile.gif
An extra OS like Ubuntu will be a good idea, after all u got 500GB space. icon_smile.gif
Here's a link to get an Ubuntu 7.10 (Gutsy Gibbon) CD for free by post with in 10 days.

I have built this system exclusively for gaming. and yes I have upgraded my analog 19" LCD to digital 22" LCD. changing MB to Gigabyte N650 SLI DS4. icon_smile.gif

yeah, you are right. I thought of going for Vista but,wasn't feeling comfortable with changing XP.

Thought of Ubuntu but, there seems to be some conflicts with new SATA drivers. and heard about problems with FSB. I did not want to compromise or limit my MB/CPU FSB for OS.

But, will try them later in near future.. I need to play some games ASAP. Just waiting for my graphic card to arrive...
