here,
all the options are true except option a) .
immediate myringotomy is not indicated. first, medical treatment is given a try and if that fails, myringotomy is required.

option b) type b tympanogram is a flat or dome shaped cureve seen in case of middle ear fluid.

option c) effusion is nearly always sterile.

option d ) indeed , it is the most common cause of deafness in a child in day care .
