I sleep very late, My room is on the top floor and no one other than myself stays there, So after i watch a horror movie, some times i start thinking that what if some thing like this appears in my room. 
I have a notion that the probability of finding a videshi ghost here is less.
So in that context i don't find the videshi horror movies as terrifying.
However the white saree ghosts do have some effect on me, the one who look like a fashion model and has big teeth and red eyes.
I would be more terrified if i see such a figure gazing at me through the window at midnight.
There is also another reason for that, when i was a small kid all the movie ghosts were the white saree ones.
They were the ones who always appeared in my dreams while i was a kid.
All that made myself more prone to the Desi Ghosts.
Coming back to the subject of discussion,
I saw a horror movie for the first time when i was 7-8 years old.
It was a malayalam movie named "Brahmarakshasu".
I saw only one scene, where a guy was sitting on a bed room on his first night, his bride enters with a glass of milk and immediately she becomes a evil white saree ghost with big teeth! 
I was so frightened that i seriously started thinking that
what if the girl i marry turns into a white saree ghost with long teeth and nails on first night.
I even planned about not getting married when i grow up.

As a kid , Predator scared the pajamas off me, and I would talk about it to other kids as well, and scare them off too.

Evil dead was a horror movie i saw in my childhood.I don't like horror movies at all,they r meaningless,convey no sense at all.

'the grudge' another horror movie by a japanese director is such a horror that it will raise hairs!both the original and sequel are done well!i saw not so long ago and was terrified to see it!

Anybody having guts to watch " The Shining".....
based on by Stanley Kubrick........
watch it alone.....in a closed room..... n lights switched off....
NOTHING LIKE IT...
No Horror movie is as horrifying as this one.....
