Hey ppl
are there any better prognostic indications when a person has a green card compared to those who are non immigrants ?????
Coz i am a patel and getting a visa is practically impossible for me ! whatever my credentials are... but on the other side of the coin there are chances for me to get married wid a NRI !! lolz

please help me !!!!!

I don't see why getting a visa is 'impossible' for you! GC does make a lot of difference because there is a large number of programs that are not willing to sponsor any visa for a residency but if you have a GC, you can apply o such programs too.

Hi AshB , could you please answer my question about the pssible specialities that we cou;d apply for here in USA as IMG , i wish to apply for surgical specialities and more specifically orthopaedics , i have finhsed my USMLE step2 ck , is this realistic to dream about or i have to reconsider my wishes ?

May 2008-ERAS 2009 Applicant Manuals 'll be available for PDF download.

July 1,2008-MyERAS website opens to applicants to begin workin on their applications.

Sep 1,2008-Applicants may begin applying to ACMGE accredited programs.
