icon_arrow.gif 2. Check your Upload and Download Speed.
We can make inferences from the Upload Speed,
For example, my BSNL Broadband is a 2MBps connection.
This corresponds to the download Speed in the Test.

That means my Internet connection is working normally at the moment.

Step:3 Make Sure No one has restricted your access to that particular site

If you are unable to access that site when the website is Ok and your net connection is fine,
there are chances that some one have restricted you access to the site.
The possibilities are,
icon_arrow.gif A Bug in the website is preventing you from Accessing the site: Go to a different pc and contact the site administrator.
icon_arrow.gif A Malware is preventing you from Accessing the site: Download and install the latest version of SpyBot S&D and run a scan.
icon_arrow.gif The administrator of the site have blocked you: You must have been a bad boy and got banned for that.
Correct the mistakes you made and the Admin may lift your ban.
icon_arrow.gif Your internet service provider have blocked you from accessing a site: Use sites like mathtunnel/vtunnel to byepass this block.

icon_arrow.gif Your parents have installed a Parental Control software: Parents do this many a times to prevent
their children from accessing objectional sites. Talk to your parent and request to lift the control.

Or you could be bogged down my NAT routers, which most of the broadband services put you behind automatically. Check your IP addresses, if you have two different ones, you may be behind a router.
Forward your ports and configure your router to gain more access to promised speed and banned websites and also for p2p software, port forwarding is an important concept.
Also your firewall or anti malware software might be blocking your ports.

DNStools is awesome and I have bookmarked it.

Being the paranoid geek that I am ,I was interested in what each website knows about me- apparently they know a lot but not totally unexpected as I had seen targeted ads on websites (the pics with the pretty blonde women who is supposedly waiting for u in "insert a town near u featured in google maps".I suppose they trace ones location using ones IP address.

DNSstuff fails to detect the anonymizer service which I guess is a good thing icon_smile.gif
In case u are wondering I used Anonymouse a german anonymizer website.
