Hi,
Welcome to RxPG.
This thread is intended to give you an idea about RxPG.
I will try to answer all your queries in this thread.
1. Where should i first go after joining RxPG?
After you have joined RxPG, your first stop should be the RxPG TOS (Terms Of Services) page.

2. RxPG Zones & Subforums
RxPG has many zones dedicated to its members.
You can see the Zones on the home page itself.
They are,
1. Hot Zone: Where you can check the Latest Hot Topics in RxPG.
2. MBBS Zone: Dedicated to undergraduate students.
3. Pre-PG Zone: Dedicated to those who are preparing for Indian Post Graduate Entrance Exams.
4. MCQ Zone: This zone contains forums whose sole purpose is to use collective intelligence to crack individual Nagging
MCQs.
5. Careers Zone: dedicated to doctors who are following a Career in a specialty.
6. Alt+C Zone: Alternative Career is to discuss options and careers in fields apart from medicine.
7. UK zone: Explore more about a career in United Kingdom or talk about the exams conducted by various Royal Colleges.
8. USA zone: For discussion on USMLE

3. How to start a New Thread in RxPG?
(How to ask a question in a forum)
This is how its done,
 Go to a Zone
The zone will have its own Sub forums, Open the sub forum which deals with your query.
Click on the "Post a new topic" link
This will open the "Post a new topic" page, Enter the thread heading as the "Subject"
Enter a key word that describes the topic as the "Tag" and enter the query in the message box.
Press the  button and check for any spelling mistakes or formatting errors.
Press the  button.

4. How can i access the threads & posts i made in RxPG?
Go to the RxPG main page (www.rxpg.com)
Near the RxPG logo, you will see the "Welcome!" message.
Just below it you can see the "My Posts" link.
This will lead you to a new page which will show all the posts you have made in RxPG.
To see the threads you started, Go back to the main page.
You will be able to see your threads in the main page itself.

5. How to make friends in RxPG?
You can use the RxPG Messenger, Shout box or Scrap book.
RxPG messenger can be used to send instant messages to others.
RxPG Scrap book has a private message facility, so no one other than you and your friend can view a private scrap.
Shout box can be used to convey a message to the whole RxPG community.
You can add cool animations in the shout box.

16. How to start a Blog or a Debate thread in RxPG?
While starting a thread add these words in the thread heading,
If it is a Blog thread, Add "Blog:" in the thread title (with out quotes)
If it is a Debate thread, Add "Debate:" in the thread title (without quotes)
Adding these tags will help your thread to get enlisted in that particular category (Debates / Blogs) in a forum.
