hi srinivas,
If u become a singapore pr also u have to have 3-5 yrs experience before they will give u temporary registration and a job as mo.otherwise u have to retake final mbbs exam conducted by nus.On the other hand if u can join the SAF as mo after ur ns then u will definately have alot of benefits...down the road they will also sponser ur further studies so worth considering...gd luck

i am working as a MO in singapaore for 7 months now
first of all the myth is that if u get a PR u will have to serve NS
but its not so as first generation professionals getting PR are exempted from it...
but getting a PR isnt easy ..u can only apply if u have a job here,,for doctors u have to have P1,P2,Q1 employment pass.for P1,P2 holders they can apply independently straight away...for Q1 holders they have to apply through employer or wait for 6 months to apply independently.
SAF-stands for singapore air force....its hard to get in as locals and prs are favoured
the other way round is get ur MRCP
thing done and u get a job as a MO/REGISTRAR right away...and moreover it is also recognised in Australia
/Ireland
etc
