hi dear .., first of all tell me which state u r doing post-graduation? as except in few colleges., many of the govt medical colleges in india are running short of equipments, instruments. for eg... u cant iamgine flow-cytometry in Punjab
s govt medical colleges..
in some other states..., thesis is done as apart of course......,without much vital importance .
hence tell me the name of the state..., then we can discuss the things....

try indian pediatrics web site. look into journal.
or pubmed

hi, dr.k.,sorry for the delay.
for any post grad thesis submission the same topic should not be submitted by any other candidate of the same university during teh past five yeras/or any time.but the same topic might have been a thesis topic for any candidate in any other state or university. so u can choose a topic from any other state also. so, as u r from DNB
, search the topics which are already submitted by DNB
candiadates..
try
another options is
-choose main area u r interested in,,,like neonatology, gastro/cardio/respiratory /cns.
then indentify cases more commonly prevalent in ur hospital pts.
like bronchial asthama/neonatal jaundice/meningitis/of course utis/rtis/ GE etc..
then u can try these topics =recent advances in nthat particular disesa area on net...
like Mg LEVELS IN BIRTH ASPHYXIA, MAGNESIUM LEVELS IN BIRTH ASPHYXIA,, PRISM SCORE, ZINC LEVELS IN AC.GASTROENTERITIS
BUT also note that indian academy of pediatrics offers award for the best thesis topic. every year. u can see the details in any of IJP journal.
also see there is financial assistance to thesis work given by ICMR/.
