Hi everyone

I'm in my last medical year. I'm beginnings to prepare for USMLE . I'm aiming for 95+. I have a question

I'm after a surgery resideny but my medical grades aren't that great. actually I failed my second medical year and have repeated it. Is there any hope to be able to get a surgey residency with that?

If I got USCE + passed MRCS will it help or I should forget about it?

Some tells me that I should not even apply to USMLE as even inernal medicin program won't consider me with that medical record even with high scores is that right?

D you think that it possible to get surgery with that or it/s nearly impossible whatever I do and I should switch to a less competitive one like medicine

Does MRCS have any effect or it will be just a wast of time and effort?
