Minimum Requirements
1. 512 MB RAM
2. Windows XP Service Pack 2
3. You should be 'self-sufficient' i.e you must have installed Windows XP on your own at least Two times.
4. An year of computer experience.

This lets you to change your windows startup image without changing your system files.

In the download page, you will see three files.
The first regular file may not work with all pcs and can crash your system at startup.
This won't harm your system files it just causes the windows to crash at bootup. (It happened with me)
If this happens uninstall the program by going to safe mode. You will be able to start windows in safe mode.
Try the alternate version named "BootSkin 1.03" in such situations.
If you don't know how to go in "Safe Mode", do not install Bootskin.

3. Sound Packager

If you are a little tired of the default Windows sound scheme, use SoundPackager.
It includes several new high quality sound schemes as well as links to download hundreds of packages of sound schemes



It is free. It will just display a nag screen at program launch thats all.
You can use the free version as long as you want. Here's how the nag screen looks. Actually its isn't Nagging . icon_smile.gif
No technical expertise is needed to install and run this software.
