Quick Scroll 2 PLACES FOR CLINICAL ATTACHMENT 12.13.07 (6 months ago) #1

Hi everyone! Please i need an advice here. In the c`ourse of applying for several clinical attachment i got offered 2 places . i accepted one and still need to do the other later, however have not replied the 2nd. Do you think i should reply at all by declining or accepting. Am afraid if i accept the 2nd i may just be starting half way through the 1st one when the 2nd may ask me to come.

Quick Scroll 2 clinical attachment 12.21.07 (6 months ago) #3

Hi Pan74,
Thanks for the advice. The problem is that am yet to even start the 1st attachment as i just submitted my CRB with the trust 1 week plus now so until it comes thro, no certain date to start. Meanwhile the expiration for me to accept 2nd offer is today.Cant even call them bcos am not sure when i ll start d 1st and so cant give the 2nd a definite postponement date. Do u think its good idea to wait until CRB for 1st one comes thro n i have a specific date to start b4 calling the 2nd. I ll appreciate your advice.

The CRB will take a maximum 4 weeks+ 4 week 1st attachment= 8 weeks;
So just arrange your 2nd attachment around after 10 weeks ,if you would not be able to start at that time, just find some excuse and ask to postpone for few weeks. So you will not loose the place.

Hi Kattie,

I saw that you are in MK and have got a clinical attachment. I am in Mk as well and have passed PLAB 2 recently, now I am looking for attachment. Can I ask you where you got your attachment? Is it in MK hospital? How did you get it.

Thank you
Cola

Best of luck! Kattie
