check the forums and threads for more information about it.
Greencard is not easily accessible just because of MPH, you have to get it like any other person does on a regular job.
MPH is not a pathway to Greencard.

Henry, take a quick look at the MPH threads in GRE forum. Most of your questions are answered there.
Most of the TOP 20 MPH schools dont give out scholarship or financial aid. Some of them do, and some of the non top 20 schools and programs do too.
It depends upon your scores or grades. There are scholarship deadlines, you need to apply within that deadline.
I have never heard of a full scholarship, but maybe someone might have got it. Generally Federal students can get full scholarship.
Go to the university websites and check their scholarship programs.

I graduated last year and i worked as a basic research fellow in ACTREC (Tata cancer research institute, mumbai) for a yr... gave my GRE and TOEFL (1410, 115 ibt)...

I had applied for PhD immunology for fall 08 and i got all rejects

so im thinking of applying for an MPH in spring 09.

I wanted to know,
1] Is it possible to get Basic Research assistantship while doing MPH?
2] How difficult is it to get into PhD Immunology after doing ur MPH??

its extremely difficult to get even H1B visa on MPH forget Green card.....

if u want to settle long term in USA u need 2 get a residency by hook or crook

I guess ur idea of going for PHD in biomedical science is better idea den doing MPH as I personally know cpl of people out der earning 75-80 k after their PHD in biomedical science..

so inc ase ur residency dreams turn sour u can bank on ur biomedical background...

same thing wont work for MPH so approach MPH course with caution
