Hi All,
I was just wondering if any one can please clearify me this aspect which for me is hard to understand. Giving QE 2 in Sping 2005, the eligibility requirmed and the fee are already been upload on the website.
According to the information pamphlet Candidates who are eligible to appear in QE2 must pass QE1 and have 1 year of postgraduate reidency training but there is one option in 4C iv (pls go thru the QE2 info pamphlet at the website) it states that.. "

“Pre-Diploma” Postgraduate Training – Postgraduate clinical medical training, such as a rotating internship, served after the requirements for the medical degree are completed but before the diploma for the
medical degree is awarded may qualify for eligibility for the MCCQE Part II. Candidates whose only postgraduate training falls into this category MUST SUBMIT A FULL TRANSCRIPT in the original language, as well as a translation if required,..................."

Does it mean that the HOUSEJOB/Intenship we do after our 5 years of MBBS is valid and we can apply?

Because I did my MBBS, did 1 year of housejob i.e. rotatry intenship and i did not do any 12 months of postgraduate training so do I qualify?

I really dont know..? any one can be of some help ..

Which country are u from? How long have you been trying for a residency in Canada ? It all depends on that.

Hi Venu,
I think you did not got my question clearly, I am asking about giving the part 2 of Canadain medical lisencing exam, not entering into Residency program, they are two different thing.
it not depending on...its weather one is eligible or not..

your internship is good enough for this, just forget and go ahead for QE2, yes you have to attach the internship certificate once again,
That should answer your question.

Yes Intenship is required: 12 months of rotation of 12 months of postgraduate training!
