Page 1 of 1: exemption from NZREX if cleared USMLE Step 3?

Hi frnds, I have cleared USMLE step 1,2,3 and CS. Do I still need to take NZREX ? I emailed MCNZ but it was kind of an automated reply, and they asked for 150$ if i need individual evalution /advice..
I knw there was some such rule until 2006, Does it hold true still? Plz advice.

Hi,
Prep is fine.
I guess u might get exemption as u have passed all 3 steps of USMLE .But Nz medical council have their own guidelines & they wiegh the case person to person..like ur other clnical background , ur scores etc.
But i still feel that u would still need to pass NZREX , the basic reg pathway .

No SCC.
NZREX is a CS like practical exam which is much difficult than CS. I do not have much info abt it yet. But u can find it on this forum.
