There are many things which can be done. First take an idea of what instruments u have at ur center, what investigations u can perform there and whats the patient's spectrum there. Then decide accordingly.
A noninterventional thesis is always easier than an interventional one.

Ok. U dont always need a fundus camera.
u can do something from the anterior segment. what are the things which are done in ur unit or what surgeries ur unit chief does will be the determining factor.
so let us know the common practice in yr unit.

Its an old topic.Though it will be easy to complete, the publication value will not be great.

Few things to be kept in mind while selecting a topic for thesis
1. What is the infrastructure(speciality clinics, instruments, common procedures etc)
2.How approachable the guides/coguides are?
3.What is the quality of support staff(liabrery, laboratories etc)
4.What has been previous history of thesis in that centre?
