I am a dermatologists.did my pg from a very reputed college.have started private practice.there are very few patients in skin.md med treat the skin cases<infective conditions>so cases r very few which r difficult to treat and there is no job satisfaction whereas i see my ophthalmologist frens doing extremely well without much set up.so its 4 u to decide.the ball is in ur court.ophtha is definately better than Dermatology .

just have a look at number of dermat seats in all india n compare with opthal... u ll find that every yr far less candidates come out with dermat den opthal..so more easy 2 get hold of catchment area for dermat guys den opthal

however if u r bent on doing sxal work den go for opthal........ else dermat seems a much better choice acc to me

Ophtalmology rocks.it is very gratigying.no job satisfaction in Dermatology .ophthal is a better option.both medical as well as surgical.

hi...in my view.. ms ophthal is far betr than md skin in manipal... ms ophthal is a surgical branch bt stil cool enuf.. n der is always a pt. satisfaction.. n ur pts. r nvr gonna divert 4m u.. no odr branch cn fetch up ur pts. n on d odr end skin is jus a cool branch wid no pt. satisfaction hwevr ppl say u make lot of money in skin.. bt its only in d metro cities.. n dat also if u do it in manipal.. u wil hv 2 spend lots of money.. wich u wil hv 2 earn l8r on..dats nt goona b cool enuf.. hwevr if u do ms ophthal.. u cn make gud use of dat money 2 make life cool... wel i can jus advise u.. tk a practical decision ... no emotions.. rest up2 u.. i dunno wat do u think n wat u wanna.. best of luck

Ophthalmology is a very good career with good job prospects and good life.since you have asked 4 suggestions i would suggest u ophthal,rest u decide.it depends on ur intrest also.if u do not like the subject,dont take it.neways all d best.

well its upon personal interest also.............. i would ceratinly be a advocate of md skin den ms opthal......... but since md skin is a pay seta for u .. u gotta decide hw keen u r on doing skin den opthal
