Get SnagIt 7.2.5 for free!

Snag is a Pro software offered by TechSmith.com which is used to take screen shots.
It has a very easy to use interface and has a very good built in editor.

Now that they have released the 8.0 version, they are giving away the 7.2.5 for free!
You can now get a FREE key from its developers.
Go to

Code:
www.techsmith.com/snagit/ukdn.asp

and Register.
The key will be sent to the email address you provided.

Then download this demo version from TechSmith,
Code:
ftp://ftp.techsmith.com/pub/products/snagit/725/SnagIt.exe

Install it and then Enter the serial you got via mail.
This also installs a plugin in your internet explorer for sreencapture from the browser.

You can also get the SnagIt extension(toolbar) for Firefox here,

Code:
http://www.techsmith.com/snagit/accessories/firefox.asp

snagit is really wonderful, i guess.... i am not sure, but it has an autoscroll feature to take a single screenshot of, say, a long pdf file.... instead of taking screenshots of a single page, it allows to take the entire pdf file, with all its pages, as a single image file....

this may b useful in case the pdf file is locked.. n cannot b printed!!

I've used SnagIT and its the ultimate in screen capturing..

but its one disadvantage for me is the lack of portable version coz I frequently need to get screen caps from computers other than my own..

so.. WinSnap to the rescue..
has most features for day to day use...
light on resources and u dont even need to install coz its portable..
check it out
