Quick Scroll Physiology -O2 Hb CURVE 12.21.05 (2 years ago) #1

THE FACTORS WHICH SHIFT THE O2-Hb CURVE TO THE RIGHT ARE:
1.ACIDOSIS.
2.INCREASED CO2.
3.INCREASED TEMPARETURE.
4.INCREASED 2-3 D.P.G.
THIS IS PROBABLY THE MOST COMMON QUESTION ASKED IN ANY POST-GRADUATE ENTRANCE EXAMINATION IN INDIA.

C = Increase in carbon dioxide
A = Acidosis (low ph)
D = Increase in 2.3,DPG
E = Exercise
T = increase in temperature
So basically everything is increased except ph, which is low causing acidosis
