can any one tell me what are the prospects of finding a job in Australia after completing the AMC test part 1 ,, and can a training post granted or its to difficult ,, i will be very thankfull if any one can clear these doubts

U should read all the relevant THREADS in this forum
So that U will find out how hard it was
Even U are PR in OZ
After passing AMC- part 1 can't do anything
Even U passed both- If U are not PR - no chance of getting

Some exceptions for my above reply
Even U haven't passed AMC & even U are not PR in OZ - but if U have UK-US - South Africa Hosp experiences more than 3 yr-- probably U will get the Job here
even if U are PR but only a fresh graduate -though u have passed part 1- nobody will give you a job even as a observer for- part 2 AMC training here

Regarding above topics -Life is not EASY
I have to add some more
Nobody life is Free of stresses
Life is always Up & Down
Don't have a Pride when U are doing well or when U are wealthy-unforeseen circumstances will be on the way
No pain- No Gain in this life
Life is very much unpredictable
Life is not going smoothly-all the time
through our sufferings we have to learn how to live with the life what we have & how to overcome those obstacles in the future

I am thinking of meditating in the jungle if I don't pass this exam

That would be a Peaceful for the rest of my life

Dear Althaf,
If you are successful in getting a GP position in AON,you can take FRACGP without AMC after working as a GP in AON for 3 years.But if you are looking for training in other specialities PG training,you need AMC.

i am preparing for yhe3 amc mcq but i am concerned about my chances of getting a residency in Australia .Actually i don't wonna be a GP nor am i interestd in family medicine , iwoud like to be a cardiologist
so what r my chances there???????

ozzies have started amc for gp shortage in rural Australia

They are noe hiring you to be there boss rather only hiring us due to the workplace shortage

racism is a lot in rural areas and i have personally experienced it

prospects of going far ahead in life are only possible in usa not oz or uk

after dr death patel case which every ozy child knows about they try to block any desi getting into surgery or more life threatening specialities

so think before you leap and plan to do something

things always look different than they feel
