Mbbs in china – the ultimate fake???(cheating of the agencies)

“study mbbs in china” “package within 4-5 lakhs” “mci curriculum” “highly qualified Indian & foreign teachers from us and uk” “facility to do internship in Indian”….advertisements like this are increasing day to day. It is difficult to see any newspapers without at least one of the kind of the ads mentioned above.moreover this china medical boom has gained so much popularity in India.agencies for the same purpose r mushrooming day to to.so what is the situation like? What is the quality of so called mbbs in china?the facts I m giving here is based only upon my experience as a medical student in china.i want to convey u all , and all the aspiring students who have a plan to do mbbs in china, about what is happening there and how an agency([snip]), the comlete business minded people cheated me and my friends in the name of studying mbbs in one of the best universities in china.(JINAN UNIVERSITY).the university , no doubt is one of the leading universities in china, with a lot of courses ranging from arts, science, commerce,and many all other disciplines.the campus is excellent with a student friendly environment and well established laboratories for science subjects and the teaching faculty for all other courses r good.but what they did in the case of international MBBS batch-2006 is really strange and astonishing.at first, let me mention that the course in which we , 25 students were enrolled was not MBBS but CLINICAL MEDICINE .we realized it when we was in the university.in all the university papers, regarding admission, the course name was written as BACHELOR OF CLINICAL MEDICINE.but before coming to china , the agency(sol) gave advertisements in the name of MBBS and they wrote the same in all of their papers.but the fact is that all over in china undergraduate medical degree in modern medicine is called BACHELOR OF CLINICAL MEDICINE.they tried to hide this fact from us & did admissions.another thing was about the teaching faculty.will anyone believe that the whole clinical medicine programme (for international batch only.for chineese medium they have enough qualified teachers and facilities)is controlled by only a single teacher from India?no separate departments, no hod, no assistant professor, no associate prof…etc…oh? How can there be professors without any departments??that was the situation there.only 2 teachers were there from India.among them, one was assigned as the head or dean of the whole course.the whole course moved and functioned according to his will and mood.no curriculum, no fixed plan, no correct schedule etc.when we complained about this to the university head and dean, he told that they, the chineese people had nothing to do with that.they told us to complain to the agency and solc authorities.we did the same.but they took a passive attitude .they had been repeating it to our seniors also.everytime they will tell that everything will be ok…tats all .next time when they come for visit, they don’t even mind us.they have a separate flat in Guangzhou city and the persons who are assigned to take care of Indian students are enjoying there.like an international tour. We all used to wonder where all the international teachers from us & uk have gone ??at lest we would have been ok if they provided teachers for the three pre medical subjects which is to be taught in the first year.we had no Biochemistry in the first year.so it was not taught upto first 2 semesters.only Physiology was taught.for Anatomy , the teacher came so late, after 1 st sem.when the 2 nd sem was in the middle.but now the Physiology teacher is leaving back permanently to India.meanwhile, a few days back, persons from MEDICAL COUNCIL OF INDIA came to our university to check the standards.they were really disappointed about the situation there.when they asked about medical library with English books, the authorities were tryning to escape saying lame excuses.the same happened in the case of medical labs,and other basic facilities.they warned us that if we studied like that we wont be able to clear screening test in India.they told us it is better to shift to a better university.but in almost colleges the situation is like this.only business for the agencies.a few exceptions are universities like sun-yat sen.but how can we shift? No idea.even if we shift, 1 year loss….now about 4 of the students left the university including me.it is really a pain for us to think about how we were cheated by the so called agency…[snip] .so my request to all the aspiring students, planning to study in china is to verify all the details about the university and go if you are fully satisfied.dont leave your decision to cheating agencies like [snip]...........

Hi. I am a citizen of Mauritius and I have applied for medicine in China. I already obtained my confirmed letter of admission for SunYatSen University of medical sciences. When I checked my letter, the course has been written as Bachelor of Clinical Medicine.

hey frnd ,,,im doin my medicine in china...i completed my 3rd yr in china. ..its really good and teaching is clear ,,but they are chinese professors ....we can understand what they are teaching and one more thing we are having good labs ...labs are perfect ...About library its not perfect but its enough for studying over here ...

Akhil..So you say you were cheated right.But i am amazed because what i hear is that in the university that you had mentioned..well supposedly your classmates are still moving on.They are working hard inspite of the challenges they are facing.But i doubt that it's as bad as you have protrayed it to be.Who said so that there was no HOD n stuff.HELLO!!They do have.It's just that maybe you were too busy in finding faults.you did not even bother to find out more about the functioning of the medical college in Jinan.
And oh..FYI the student there get an MBBS degree and in addition to that also a CM(clinical medicine) degree.It's CM(MBBS).

i have seen students here changing their universities bcoz of the reasons sited above,.....by changing d univ. wud never lessen the probs.
In all the china univs. for medicine,they have the same rules for the international students wid not more than 1-2 indian teachers for one subject...however, chinese teachers who r gud in english carry on wid the practicals alongwid d indian teachers.......
our main aim is to cross mci screening. which is not by the no. of teachers we have or whether we have hod....etc.....it is only by how much we cud make ourselves strong enough to devote atleast max. hrs in our medical course!!!
plz. do not get diverted by the rumours...it wud make ur future more dark in china.........
the ones with gud will, wud b able to cross mci screening at the 1st chance itself inspite of studying in the univ. from where students r moving out to other univ.....its just a wastage of time n money n nothing else........!!!
hope ppl do not take my words otherwise......!!!
