Dear doctor friends.

You could immigrate to Canada but do not think you could continue your job immediately. Take MCCEE and MCCQE1 and continue to take the assessments held by the provincess. Go on taking assessments again and again but it will not lead you anywhere (most of the time).

But if you want to immigrate well try to do what ever job or studies in a college or in a university. Carry on with your life do not be so ambitious about continuing your profession. visit immigrate doctor Canada - my wb- site for help and all about Canada .

If u have the resources & resilience to survive for a couple of years, while u bang u'r head against the wall (read, hunt for residency AFTER clearing all exams), then you MAY crack the wall & go thru'. Another option is to join a para-med / tech course, if u are flexible enough mentally to consider it. But if u are one of the "Once a doctor, always a doctor" types, Canada will disappoint 99.9 % of the times. Moreover, I think if a person is good enuff to get a residency in Canada, he / she is definitely good enuff to complete MD/MS from a good institute in India. For >90% of medico immigrants, Immigration to Canada means --- Working in factories as menial labor, Security Guard, Pizza delivery guy, etc. So u either get it all (in dreams ???) or u get nothing at all !!! Sorry for being so pessimistic, guys, but that's how I've seen it over the 3 years I've been here now.
