First, finish your GMC registeration.
Then , look for attachment.
Sometimes, they accept overseas reference, only if they are in need, but the best is to have UK reference, so try for attachment, though it is very difficult nowadays, but, it is worth to try
while trying, apply also for jobs through NHS website

thanx very much coorty for the reply , i've got few more question to ask if u rnt bothered , first of all - i heard u can apply while gmc registration under processing , about the refrences , does it have to be clinical reference from a doctor or it can be any UK reference such as from a company manager or other professional? i'm finding it difficult to get reference from doctor here....is it worth doing clinical attachment??

i'll highly appreciate if any1 can guide me pls...

Reference means any doctor supervised you during your training, he should be a doctor , in UK ( that is better )or overseas , you have to put his name, qualifications & contact details in your CV, so that your next empolyers can contact him before employing you to ask about you.
You can apply for registeration( it take some weeks to Register with GMC), during that apply also for jobs, search for attachment. But , u will not be able to get any job before your registeration completed.
As you finished your internship overseas, u r legilable for full registeration according to the new rules.

I am due to take PLAB 2 next month and I dont have any UK reference so can anyone tell me How can I do a clinical attachment?

Thank you very much coorty for the infos,i might include overseas reference at the moment n might go for attachment for uk reference later , i'm from Bangladesh.
doctee u can try in different hospitals for attachments , i know specifically about whipps cross hospital , they do in feb , june and oct....u need to pay 350 quid for attachment of 4 wks and need to go through the selection criteria...
