Hi drfjm,

The medical board GP interview depends on state to state. Its abt 5-6 clinical scenarios. U will have to be thorough with adult and paediatric emergencies, obst emergencies. OCPs, HRT, depression, anxiety.

1-2 questions on medical emergencies like MI. pulmonary oedema are for sure. u have to start with A,B,C(airway, breathing, circulation). And allways ask for help if u are in trouble in hospital. Help could be from collegues, nurses etc. Stay calm and answer clearly.

Diabetes is another favourite topic. Be familier with DM care in GP setting and things u will look in Type 1 and Type 2 DM cases on follow up. Read a bit abt shared care in diabetes. U can get information from john murtagh.

Be familier with the GP clinic u are going to and have an understanding abt the area. U should be prepared to answer the questions like why do u want to come to Australia and whats ur future plan etc?

Be familier with ur CV as well.
regards and all thye very best

Hello everyone ,

I know we all might have different ways of answering the questions on a phone interview, but what would be the better ways to answer questions like:

#why would you like to work in this hospital ?
#why do you want to come to Australia
#how long do you intend on staying In Australia
#Why do you think we should we recruit you ?

Anyone want to help ?
