Hi everyone!
I started this thread because I'm in need of some advice. I just wrote my QE1 exam a couple of weeks ago. I'm trying to figure out what to do next. I've been driving around giving out my resume to various clinics; also applied for some research jobs in the downtown hospitals. No luck so far.
Anyways, I was thinking of doing an observership. If there's anyone here who's done this before, I would appreciate some help on who to approach, how much it would cost; does it really help with residency etc...
I was also thinking about getting certified as an ultrasound tech. I know that some IMGs have gone this route. Does it help in getting a residency and how much time and money do I have to invest to get my ardms certification?
Any bit of advice would help.
