Hi I applied for a HSMP visa to get into the UK and received the following response:

"I have sent the application back to you as you have applied for the wrong category of visa". Included are details for the HSMP category and what you need to do to obtain HSMP approval. If you wish to work in the you do need employment before you apply for entry clearence".

But I applied and met all the criteria and I was under the impression that the HSMP program enables for highly skilled labor to go into the UK to look for work.

This is what I have read:
The programme is designed to allow highly skilled people to migrate to
the United Kingdom to look for work or self-employment opportunities.


So confused this sucks if this was a waste of money.........
