Postgraduate programmes in 48 clinical specialities in Russia -
Information for Postgraduate Students
Preparatory Faculty(Russian language Course)-Foreign PG students undergo 3 to 6 months of Russian language training in the preparatory faculty. The language teachers speak English and are experienced in teaching Russian language to foreign doctors. Our experience shows that after 3 months of training 90% of foreign doctors are able to speak Russian quite fluently. Since doctors are involved in patient care, more emphasis is given to spoken Russian. After the completion of language course PG student starts clinical rotations in hospitals. One tutor and a professor is appointed for his PG program. Their role is to arrange clinical rotations and make sure that PG student gets the best training tailored to his individual needs.

Advantages of doing PG in Russia -

1) Freedom to choose the specialty for post graduation.

2)Clinical rotations tailored to your needs.

3)Big infrastructure/modern equipment

4)Excellent clinical experience.

5)Good super specialty exposure.

6)Professors/staff friendly, considerate and co-operative.

7)No racism, no harassment.

8)Chance to get a clinical rotation in France/Germany.

9)Experience of a different culture.
