Hi,
PG diplomas have lost their sheen. IN any instituition set up, it generallly does not get the respect that it has to. Pg diplomates are largely seen sulking for one stupid decision that they made in their life..The fate of DO, DLO is even more worse. They can set shops only in rural areas... In medical colleges, they are casually oppressed by the MD/MS people. and as per the MCI norms, they don't get to become a professor/examiner.
Except for dgo who pick up practice, it is useless otherwise.

The problem is not with Microbiology
, but only with the chances of the course getting recognized. If it is a newly approved course, then there is a high chance for it to get recognized by MCI. But if it an erstwhile recognized course, better check out with the management and it's people.. it is impingent on the college politics and the earnestness of the management to get it recognized.
