bt(i am sharing this with u because after reading ur answer i really think u can help) sir i was prepared for the entrance not 100% bt i thnk around 80% and my paper also went well i really expected a very good rank bt when result came it was so shocking to see such a bad rank in1900 as if i have done nothing. dont knw wht went wrong where i was wrong bt even today i couldnt come out of this heart broking truth

since it was ur frst attempt n even otherwise also there's nothing to panic much, keep urself calm as much as possible,do ur best n be prepared fr the worst, u will have ur day. there's nothing as 80% or 100% preparation ,u just have to keep going till it's all over as u can't quit , give mock tests alot and keep ur focus mainly on the repeats, paper in UP of all years is mainly a repeat(again many may not agree) n that too of just MK n AA, even papers like SGPGI BHU ,ai, all are at least conquerable if u r quite thourough with those 5 books(with all errors corrected), give lots of mock tests on net n elsewhere(there too take care mainly that the repaets of 10 yrs AIIMS n ai shud not be wrong). wait fr ur day,thre are many striving fr years n are far behind u . since the paper was largely repeat those taking such exam fr the frst time find it extremely easy n expect too much(though the case was same with me, but i know somehow), try to score around 80-85% in papers formed totally frm mk n aa(those on net are exactly so).what's in ur hand is to give the exam n expect nothing, results are never in ur hand,even those succeding with flying colours were never sure that they will.everybody makes silly mistakes in the exams , the day they will minimise u'l get through, n the main reason fr depression in such cases is people's expectations frm u. remember those who really care fr u wud be happier with ur selection but won't b affected otherwise n those who don't u shdn't care about them.do it once more,take ur time,n take breaks as well.
keep hitting the nail,once u get near the finish line hitting here n there, a lil luck wud make u hit it at the right spot.do ur best, do hell with the rest best of luck n jus keep rocking.
