Phir bhi choice 3 is wrong nah !! Am I right !!

yes ,u are right.ans here is 4 ,definitely.

choice 3--
ASO titre more than 200 is indicative of RF
is wrong.
my interpretation is --that we cant diagonose RF based on this titre only....that assumes significance --when it is present above a particular cut off--thats 200--but then it has to be supplemented by major and minor criteeria to indicate rheumatic fever.
being indicative and being significant are different things..also --ASO is not specific for RF only ..false positive results can also be seen.

the main thing that i wanted to bring to notice was that the different titres --of ASO and antiDNAse in a prev streptococcal infecytion.

where as --in nephritogenic stains ASO titre is raised --significant titre being >200.
and in pyodermic stains--anti DNAseB is more relevant and its significant titre is >300....

No mate, i dont think u r right. According to ananthnarayan, ASO titre above 200 is significant in rheumatic fever. In acute glomerulonephritis, antiDNAase B titre above 300-350 is significant. According to harrison if ASO titre is above 200 and aDNAase B and antihyaluronidase is above 300-350 then it is 95% specific for rheumatic fever.
