if yes, is maheshwari and osteology sufficient???

special papers are pretty difficult, will dwell on recent advances arthroplasty etc.
Advice: slog and do well in gen paper if you are post mbbs, write special paper if you are post dip and have worked in a tertiary specialised centre...

oh man, orthopaedics paper was tough. actually i cant say tough as i have never read orthopaedics in detail. i think its best left for dorto people with sound theory knowledge. just for the record, there were loads of questions on hip and knee replacement, osteotomies and really a large number of questions on foot, including deformities, corrective surgeries etc
i swear i cant recall the questions. every time i read a question, i wud be so mystified that i instantly forget the previous question. and added to all that was segment 4 and 5 with true or false.oh it was like 3 hrs wasted just before all india.
