Hi fellow future surgeons,

the aim of this topic is to find out what are the options outside India after doing MS(general surgery)?


1>Do you have to give USMLE for US?
2>Will your MS be recognised there if you clear USMLE?
3>What is the procedure after you clear USMLE?
4>What other countries could be potential destinations?

I have heard hospitals give more preferences to superspecialised candidates from abroad (fellowships) than MCh from India(particularly state candidates)?

Any information on these would be helpful to all of us.
