Features of the Program

The Training Program offers UAE Ministry Of Health accredited clinical and community postings, which meet, or exceed RACGP requirements. Hospital rotations will be available at leading hospitals, as well as rural and urban centres /community PHC centres. Accredited general practice rotations range from solo to small, medium to large group practices. Our GP trainers and practice managers attend regular training and are provided with ongoing support and resources to ensure they are well equipped to provide quality on-site teaching and supervision.

Incentives and opportunities for our Trainees include training support, IT training, the latest in web-based education and administration, and input into all aspects of program development and management through positions of representation.

GMC complements its core training program by offering a broad range of special skills postings and advanced community skills postings to ensure the interests and needs of the trainees within our program are met.

A group of very dedicated and enthusiastic GP supervisors and medical educators provide high quality GP training in practices with well-established support structures. Whole patient care is provided in towns linked to smaller rural hospitals and many of the practices provide the opportunity for procedural work with full and appropriate backup.
